Ďakujem Lesoochranárskemu zoskupeniu VLK za sprievod s výkladom. Prírodná rezervácia Vihorlatský prales je svojou rozlohou (2 160 hektárov) 9. najväčšou rezerváciou na Slovensku. Bola vyhlásená v roku 2020 vďaka 12-ročnému úsiliu Lesoochranárskeho zoskupenia VLK. Okrem toho, že si tu všetky živé bytosti môžu žiť nerušený život, je aj súčasťou Svetového prírodného dedičstva UNESCO. Zdroj: https://unesco.wolf.sk/

Moja vďaka patrí Lesoochranárskemu zoskupeniu VLK za pomoc pri výbere vhodného miesta. Stromček som umiestnila na ľahko dostupné miesto, ideálne pre krátku romantickú túru, aj pre samotárov, pre rodiny, pre cyklistov a tiež pre okoloidúcu zver.
Práve mestské lesy v Košiciach si pýtajú pozornosť - potrebujú zmeny v hospodárení, chcú sa stať bezzásahovou prírodnou rezerváciou s voľným pohybom ľudí na rozlohe 7 200 ha, a poháňa ich túžba po vytvorení nárazníkovej rekreačnej zóny vyhradenej pre prírodný turizmus.
